Publication
Since 1992, The Slovak Sociological Association publishes a bulletin Spravodaj Slovenskej sociologickej spolo nosti ; it appears four times per year as the supplement of the bulletin of the Institute for Sociology.
The Slovak Sociological Association has published several conference volumes (in Slovak).

Forthcoming activities
Workshop on the theme 'National Sociological Association in Slovakia and the Czech Republic after the Velvet Revolution of 1989: from Totality to Plurality'.
The workshop will consist of two meetings. The firs of them will be held in September 2004 in Bratislava and the attendants of the meeting will be former and current presidents of the Slovak Sociological Association and of the Masaryk Czech Sociological Association. The second meeting will be held in November 2004 in Trnava and it will be the meeting of current presidents of the sociological associations of Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Czech republic and Poland.
Topics of discussion:
1. The reflection of the mission of national sociological associations in the processes of social change of our societies before and after 1989.
2. The discussion about forms of operating of national sociological associations in favour of the improvement of the scientific community of sociologists after the year 1989.
3. Is there any possibility of the co-operation of the sociological associations of the central European region? (ESA congress in Torun 2005 B ISA congress Durban).
The workshop is sponsored by a grant received from International Sociological Association.
