Ad Hoc Sessions. Rules
Application for Ad Hoc Session should include:
1. Title of the session
2. Name(s) and full mailing address of the organiser(s)
3. Short description of the session contents
4. List of potential contributors
In order to qualify for a place in the Congress programme, the potential session must involve
- a) substantial umber of sociologists
- b) from several countries
- c) who have already engaged in some collaboration and
- d) whose special interest does not properly fit within the field of an within the field of an established ISA Research Committee, Working Group or Thematic Group.
One session will be allocated to each Ad Hoc and they will be held at 18:30-20:00, on Monday through Saturday, July 12-17, 2010.
There is a limited number of slots for Ad Hoc sessions in the Congress programme, and therefore applications will be evaluated by the ISA programme Committee on their strength on the competitive basis.
The applications should reach ISA Secretariat in Madrid by January 31, 2009.
