Sessions of National Associations
Sessions of National Associations will be held at 15:30-17:30 during 6 days, Monday through Saturday, July 12-17, 2010. These sessions are intended as a forum at which National Sociological Associations, collective members of ISA in good standing, can present:
- (a) the research results dealing with particularly important problems and challenges facing their countries;
and/or
- (b) particularly influential, specific national traditions in sociological theory and research.
Maximum of 2 sessions may be requested. The format of the sessions may vary and include: presentation of papers, panel discussions, round table debates, poster or slide presentations, book exhibits etc.
Applications for sessions should be submitted by September 15, 2009 to the ISA Secretariat, isa@isa-sociology.org and to Vice-President for National Associations, Michael Burawoy, burawoy@berkeley.edu
