Abstract

In the thesis analyzed theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the communicative mechanism of stigmatization as a basis of profession negative image formation in conditions of contemporary Ukrainian society. There is substantiated theoretical interpretation of the "communicative mechanism of professions stigmatization" as a complex system of interaction based on information transfer about profession through special facilities affecting all levels of communication in conditions of specific communication expectations of a negative nature.
On the basis of the empirical study, the author concludes that stigmatization of professions differentiated depending on the subject of profession perception. Furthermore, based on the author's analysis of survey it is drawn a conclusion that instrument of professions stigmatization is carried out by incompatibilities social expectations of dichotomous variable coordinates of social action.
