Master Programs
Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology, ICS
Universities of Groningen, Utrecht and Nijmegen
The Netherlands

There are three Master's Programs at the ICS starting September 1, 2005:

  • in Groningen the sociology specialisation in the Human Behavior in Social Contexts
  • in Utrecht two programs:
    • Sociology and Social Research
    • Migration, Ethnic Relations and Multiculturalism.

These programs are taught in English. Students from outside the Netherlands are explicitly encouraged to apply. There are various scholarships available to talented foreign students. Information: http://www.ics-graduateschool.nl
Deadlines for application:
Groningen: May 1, 2005 for applicants from within the European Union, and April 1, 2005, for applicants from outside the EU.
Utrecht: April 15, 2005 for those who do not need a visa or help with housing.
