Established in May 2007
The Junior Sociologists Network grew out of the experience of participants of the ISA Laboratories for PhD students and ISA Juniors Sociologists Competition. It aims at providing a platform for junior academic scholars at the beginning of their academic careers (graduate students and early career faculty) as well as for social practitioners, independently of their thematic research interests. It is a network of citizens from different countries who gather to discuss, share and produce knowledge and social experiences in a changing world.
Criteria to become a member of the JSN:
- Be graduate student, or
- Possess a graduate (post-secondary degree) or PhD within the last 5 years, or
- Be a social practitioner graduated within the last 5 years
