Objectives
The Research Committee on
Social Transformations and Sociology of Development is a non-profit association of scientific purposes. Its function is to represent sociologists working about social practice and social transformation everywhere, regardless of their school of thought, scientific approaches or ideological opinion. The goal of the RC 09 is to advance sociological knowledge on social practice and social transformation throughout the world. In its structure, it recognizes the aspirations of sociologists working about social practice and social transformation in all parts of the world and endeavours to strengthen the free development of such research.
