• Interview with Rhoda Reddock (UN CEDAW Committee) by Ragi Bashonga (Youth Representative to the UN for the ISA)
Rhoda Reddock is Professor Emerita of The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus in Trinidad and Tobago. Amongst other roles, Prof. Reddock is an activist in the Caribbean Women’s Movement and other social movements; she is currently an elected expert on the UN CEDAW Committee. Prof. Reddock is a former president of the Research Committee on Women, Gender, and Society (RC32) of the International Sociological Association (ISA) and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the ISA.
Here she is interviewed by Ragi Bashonga, a lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, who currently serves as a youth representative to the United Nations for International Sociological Association (ISA).
