Grandparent Caregiving - An International Perspective

Call for Papers Special Issue of GrandFamilies: The Contemporary Journal of Research, Practice and Policy

The editors of GrandFamilies: The Contemporary Journal of Research, Practice and Policy are planning a special issue to highlight grandparent caregiving from an international perspective. We invite authors to submit manuscripts that promote a worldview of grandparents raising grandchildren.

Paper topics may focus on the interpretation, application and evaluation of research and practice methods involving grandparent caregivers and/or their grandchildren. Papers analyzing specific international policies that affect grandparent-headed families are also welcomed.

Types of manuscripts for the journal are: 
Full articles (5,000 words)
Research Briefs (2,000 words)

All manuscripts should follow the electronic publication format found in the APA Style Guide at http://www.apastyle.org/. Anticipated publication will occur Fall, 2016.
