International Sociology Reviews (ISR) is associated with the journal International Sociology, an official journal of the International Sociological Association, by launching two bi-annual issues with a focus on review essays of books and other publications. ISR aims at contributing to the further development of sociology as a global, and thus richly diverse and lively discipline. The journal issues are an opportunity to examine whether, and in what way, perspectives on sociology as a science and on human experiences of the social are shaped by structures and worldviews developed in different areas of the planet. ISR, therefore, welcomes reviews of sociological work produced in languages other than English.

Further information about the journal can be found here.
