The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) aims at strengthening regional and interdisciplinary networking between the scientists and scholars sponsored by the foundation, at supporting worldwide contacts and at introducing young scientists to the work of the Humboldt Foundation and to research in Germany.
