ISA Parallel Event at CSW70
Call for Presentations
The International Sociological Association (ISA) is thrilled to announce its sponsored parallel event at the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), taking place in New York from 9–20 March 2026. This global gathering offers a unique opportunity to amplify sociological voices on one of today’s most urgent challenges.
This year’s priority theme -- “Ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural barriers.” -- calls for bold, innovative, and impactful research. We invite ISA members in good standing to contribute original work that advances understanding, inspires action, and helps shape more just and equitable futures.
Join us in bringing sociological perspectives to the forefront of international dialogue.
Please note that ISA cannot provide funding for participation. However, there is no registration fee to attend the event.
