Global Courses
Public Sociology
Public Sociology, Live!
"Public Sociology, Live!" is a global course that brings distinguished sociologists from around the world into conversations about the ways in which their work can be seen as public sociology. The resulting seminars are recorded (2012) and posted on the ISA website below. These recordings then become the basis of discussions in parallel courses around the world whose members summarize their deliberations on Facebook whereupon anyone can post their comments. Syllabus, readings and other course-related materials can be found on a blog.
